His word in the clouds and sunshine.

So today in Lubbock TX it started out kinda rainy and cloudy, as I drove to work the clouds began to break, the sun was peaking out. By the time I got off work and walked to class around 11am the sun was out, bright and shinning! Then the sun went back behind the clouds and the thick, dark, scary clouds came back. the kind of clouds that make it difficult to see very far across the horizon. All day my thought was man this is so my life. exactly! oh for hope! you see its kinda crazy how there are times in life when its dark and drizzly you can see much ahead, but oh there's hope. The sun comes out and His glory is revealed! beautiful! magnificent really! and sometimes the clouds come back, but its those little glimpses of His glory that restore my joy, confirm my hope and make me want and to simply trust Him more!

then this way way cool. from my brother's twitter today. this is a pic back home of the good 'ole Caddo Mills Ed Locker Football Stadium. God's work is absolutely ridiculous! really. really ridiculous. So as Im wrapping up my day I see this picture. the perfect ending. hope. the promise, He will provide. And He shows us His glory when we choose to trust Him.

So enjoy the clouds sometimes, it makes you trust. and its always fun to rejoice in His glory. I mean who doesn't love sunshine. then to simply sit amazed, awestruck at His faithfulness and provision.
