meet Shalom. our paths crossed when I was interning for STBC. i got to love on this precious heart when we went to preteen camp. He followed me everywhere! Him and another little boy told me I should be a super model, so i let them stay around lol. Shalom and I laughed a lot on our walks from activity to activity. I heard the whole x-man story, which was finished up over a bowl of cafeteria cereal at breakfast on the last day. It was fun to have a little man around to chat it up with about Jesus and God's creation and such. But God wanted to bless me with even more than that..You see this summer was rough. i mean really really rough. Lots of discipline. lots of desperate moments. hard and healing moments. and when this week was over I was reflecting God spoke straight to my heart in such a tangible way. Ashley, I've given you my peace. Shalom! not just sometimes. but always. to walk with you at any and every moment. to bless you and keep you. to overwhelm you. for its with my presence. just like shalom. wow-o!!

Just stopped by to catch up. And to tell you how much I miss & Love you! LOVE the pics & post about Shalom. You are now & have always been an amazing blessing to me. Can't wait for a Christmas hug :)
