hello blogging world. its been a while. and lots happening:Christmas, Germany, wisdom teeth out and as always God teaching something new and beautiful.
so my Christmas break was rather fast and busy, but GREAT! family time was fabulous and i got to go to germ germ! aka Germany! so in germany i was part of a team for the MKR 09. which is a retreat for missionary kids from IMB in Central and Eastern Europe. oh my heart fell in love, sometimes i wonder how many things can i love mucho at one time. lol. but anyways, there was about 100 kiddos and i had a small group of 13 yr old girls, oh to be 13 again! haha.. Their hunger for the Lord was refreshing. Most of these kids have no connection to other christians especially ones their age, so they eat this stuff up. they're completely intentional with their learning, worship and fellowship. and it always always blesses my heart to see His glory among the nations! lovely!

so some fun moments, this cool kid, named shaphan, taught me how to make snowballs perfectly with real snow! haha it was great. then i played football on the snowy mountain in willigen! it was a blast, completely utterly satisfying!then our train broke down in the middle of nowhere! i mean real time boonies with no english speakin people. oh my! then there was the ducks that were continuously quacking, and we were pretty sure they were gonna attack us haha..
heart wrenching moment: we were wrapping things up and our coordinator asked if there was anyone who couldn't be tagged in facebook pics for security purposes and one of my precious girls stood up then a handful stood to say, you can tag us but don't put anything like "missionary" or anything in any titles.. wow. it became real real quick just what these families give by being obedient to their calling. I want that obedience, no matter what the cost!
