interesting conversations at the good 'ole TTU rec center yesterday. love those guys. they bring a new perspective that continues to help me evaluate and share my faith. love it!
so yesterday. we're talkin about a situation that was kinda goin on with one of my fellow believers. i was telling them how they were stumblin. flirting with some dangerous dangerous sinful damaging stuff. my heart was breaking for them. definitely didn't wanna see them hurt or get in a situation and be overtaken by temptations.
Brian looked at me and said, "you know i find it interesting that ya'll are willing to go out and witness in the depot (club strip) and do stuff with homeless, but you don't take care of your own"
my jaw dropped. wow. such truth, conviction. right there.
truth is. we've gotta take care of our own. might step on some toes along the way. bein like salt on the wounds. but what are we doin letting our own wander. yes, the heart and motive has to be right, so check that first. but we must not brush that off or count it as pointless.
